good run of gigs with our erstwhile keyboard player Rick who lives in London and only does the bigger gigs with us as we cant

THE PORTLAND ROCK BAR
THANKS TO ALL OUR LOYAL AND DEVOTED FANS (JEEZ CAN I SUCKUP)
who braved the winds and torrential rain to come and see us at the portland, we were without one of our number
in the form of the welsh (guitar) wizard MEL, due to serious family illness, but the boys managed to create our sound and
cover the parts that even heineken cant reach without him. Rick our new and much loved keyboard ist (?) played a blinder given
that he has only had a few on board hours to settle in. dunno why but feels like he's part of the family and has been forever...
very easy but professional guy.the gig was brill we had a lotta fun and the crowd didnt smoke too much given that it was the
last nite they could do that in a pub, from now on the smoke machines gonna be used a lot more and all the smokers kin git
down the front and inhale :-))
THE CROWN, LITTLEHAMPTON.
Yup definately getting better we had a real good crowd there on friday, thanks to you all for coming, we debuted
our latest aquisition, in the form of Ric a keyboard player from London, added a whole new dimension to the bands sound, fuck
me, we are one hot band now!
watch this space for things to come for next year....hell yeah..
now to get ready for the Portland!!!!!!!!!!!
THE MARINA FOUNTAIN, St LEONARDS ON SEA,
Great night at the Marina Fountain, fabulous stage plenty of room for all the gear that we took there,
stevie the landlady is absolutely wonderful, a dedicated music and biker pub altho its not compulsory to be a biker to
go and see a band there. As we did the last time we were there, had a rockin good night I lost count of the people who came
up and told us how awesome they thought we were, I know its all subjective but its nice to be appreciated when the sweat is
pouring off you and youve given your all to put on a show for the assembled multitude, love yor asses and we see you again
in july when we have Rum Boogie 'supporting' us commas are there coz its really a double header rather than support see ya'all
real soon.
THE CROWN, LITTLEHAMPTON
Well after the last time we were there we had decided to give the place another go, and its very fortunate that we did,
Donna the landlady appears to be turning it around and working very hard in the process, a lot of the crowd were back in there
and a great time was had by all. Faye and Tony were up the front as per usual, and a little bird told me that we will be greetin
a new little freebird come new years day. They obviously been lettin the good times roll.......congrats.
Tony (AS IN OUR TONY) was bouncin about beside me with his newest firebird in hand, jeez that things got some tone
on it and in it if you catch my drift.we had Stuart McCall deppin on drums for us and boy can he play our stuff well, thanks
Stu you done us proud mate. The night was rounded off as usual in the time honoured band tradition of a kebab in littlehamptons
finest emporium, thanks Donna (not the kebab of course) and the Crown crowd for your appreciation and applause see ya
soon..
THE PORTLAND ROCK BAR.
A FUN NIGHT AS ALWAYS, home territory for us, lotsa friends there always a good but hot sweaty and smoky night..... roll
on July at least we can breathe in the Port then coff coff......
THE CARLISLE, HASTINGS ANOTHER NIGHT TO REMEMBER
what a pleasure it is to play at the Carlisle, all the crowd rockin from the off we love you all over there, and Scottie
even bunked out of hospital for a little while just to come and see us hope you get better real soon Scott. thanx from the
band for supporting us you guys.....particularly Alie and the gang..... YOU ROCK.
ANOTHER ENJOYABLE GIG AT THE PRINCE ALBERT IN EASTBOURNE LAST SATURDAY. good
crowd very appreciative, Terry the landlord brilliant geezer looks after us really well Gary played out of his skin what a
drummer.next saturday off to the Carlisle ......Hello Hastings.
Thats better made up for the last gig we had (read below)
THE MOSHPIT, at O'Neils bar in Redhill Town Ctr.
Marc and the boys who run it gave us a warm welcome and were helpful even to the point of roadying for us getting our
gear in to the bar.... a small crowd.. it seems that they had several events over the weekend to the point that they raised
i think it was 1400 quid for red nose day on friday, obviously left the good rockers of Redhill a bit skint for going out
this week....HOOever the good folk that were in that night were a great audience and we enjoyed the gig immensely...a good
few came up afterwards telling us how much they enjoyed it and a couple even said we were the best band that had played
there yet, and let me tell you theyve had some good ol boys play there. its all subjective i know but its nice to be appreciated
and in mel and tonys case adored....hehehehe..thanks Marc look forward to seeing you agin real soon Hell Yeah..n giter done
look upThe Moshpit on myspace.....
WELL HOW THINGS CHANGE....THE CROWN AT LITTLEHAMPTON WAS A GREAT GIG.....
BUT LAST FRIDAY WAS NOT GOOD, A CHANGE OF MANAGEMENT HAS RESULTED IN A CHANGE OF CLIENTELE....THERE WERE A FEW 'CHAVS' WHO
WERE PISSED WHEN WE GOT THERE,AND IT WENT DOWN HILL FROM THERE WE WERE TOLD TO TURN DOWN SO MUCH THAT WE
COULD HEAR THE PEOPLE IN THE PUB WHO WERE LOUDER THAN THE BAND, LOADSA EFFIN AND BLINDIN FROM A FEW PISSED UP INDIVIDUALS
WHO WERE RUMOURED TO BE RELATED TO THE LANDLADY...ASKE TO PLAY STATUS QUO, WHO, AND WORSE OFALL STUCKINTHE FUCKIN MIDDLE WITH
YOU? WAS A ROCK CROWD ONCE A FEW DIEHARDS STILL BUT TOO MANY DRUNK CHAVS, WE WILL BE RECONSIDERING OUR FUTURE GIGS WITH THIS
VENUE
NEVER MIND EH?
the mini brightona at Worthings Warwick
pub went really well and the total raised for the heart charity exceeded last years which was excellent. bands
were us (of course), Magic Taxi, the Black Arrows ( these
young lads are destined for stardom) and Highway Jones....coupla weeks rest then
the crown......
